LSU English professor Dr. Michael Allemen was recently quoted in an online article on Goalcast.com titled The Dark, Hidden Truths in Fairy Tales and What We Can Learn From Them by Aly Walansky.

He mentions that the fairy tale Hansel and Gretel “illustrates the importance of mutually nurturing relationships." His course, “A Survey of English Literature from the Beginnings to 1798,” covers the beginnings of language and literature through the end of the eighteenth century.
